SB-316, a misguided Uranium Waste Removal bill, was tabled in Senate Indian, Rural & Cultural Affairs Committee this morning 3 votes to 2. This is a victory for community members in the Red Water Pond Road Community who support the Quivira Removal Project moving uranium mine waste to the Red Rock Landfill. Thanks to Senators Shannon Pinto (chair), William Soules and Antonio Maestas for voting to table this bill.
