MULTICULTURAL ALLIANCE FOR A SAFE ENVIRONMENT (MASE) added an event.
This is the 38th year since the largest uranium spill in US history. Very little cleanup has been done and the community calls for health studies and protection of their water.
We will start with 7 am prayers then walk three miles to the spill site. Transporation will be available for elders. Following the walk, there will be a gathering under shade for speeches, educational booths, free food and drinks and a fundraising auction. A special tent with activities will be set up for the children.

Red Water Pond Road Community - 12 miles north of Red Rocks State Park near Church Rock on Navajo Nation
